When I got an email from Outdoor Photographer magazine asking to work together, I was super pumped to say the least. After learning they wanted to do a multi-page spread, well I couldn't have been happier honesty. Within a few days I had a phone conversation with Bill Sawalich, who was handling the writing of the story. In perhaps the most honest hour of talking I'd done in a while, Bill had all the fuel he needed to craft a feature that'd touch on my aesthetic, creative philosophy, and future vision as an artist. The icing on the cake was learning that my image "Free Lunch" had landed the cover spot. This surprise combined with some really kind words from the editor made for a great feature.
